I just wanted to let you know how delighted I am with my Retrospec’d ‘Kathleen’ dress. Okay, so me, the person who should never buy a lotto ticket because I never win “anything”, bought some cat food (yeah - no surprise, I’m owned by three of the damn things!). Entered online to the “every purchase wins a prize” thingy and ...won a $100 voucher to a place called Birdsnest. Pause while all of you pick yourselves up – yes, you read right – I won something. You’ve been shopping there for ages, I hear you say with a sniff – well, why the hell didn’t you tell me??? Went onto their site, thinking “Oh God – gonna be one of those “and your prize is a voucher you won’t spend, for stuff you don’t want and will never wear”.” WRONG! I got a lovely reversible vest with polar fleece on one side and water resistant fabric on the other (navy and teal – yummy colours!) and a slinky black tee that looked gorgeous on the site and ....um.... interesting on the body. The tee didn’t suit, so I contacted the returns department, sent it back in exchange for a different top (red this time, and less likely to make me look like sausage meat in too tight plastic.) Their service is awesome – first order went in on a Tuesday afternoon and I got it on the Thursday morning. The return was sent on Tuesday afternoon, I got an email today at lunchtime to say they had received it and had already sent my exchange item (and it won’t surprise me if it shows up tomorrow). So yeah – these girls are on top of customer service.
